Baby Nutrition
As a parent one of your most important responsibilities is ensuring that your baby receives proper nutrition.
Baby nutrition is often overlooked simply because we are led to believe that all formulas are alike. This simply is not true. Optimally breast milk is the absolute best choice for your baby’s nutritional needs.
It provides all the nutrition and immune related benefits that your baby will need including many proteins, carbohydrates, fats and other nutrients.
Breast milk provides your baby with the formula that he/she needs for a healthy digestive system as well.
If you can not breastfeed your baby due to any number of reasons or if you are not completely comfortable with the breastfeeding concept then there are many good baby formulas that provide adequate nutritional benefits as well (Ernährung).
The key is in choosing the one that is right for your baby. If you do choose to feed your baby formulas as opposed to breast milk then choosing a formula that is iron fortified is the best idea.
Iron fortified formulas provide an excellent source of baby nutrition. Most infant formulas also contain the proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates that are needed to ensure complete nutrition.
Complete nutrition is essential for your baby’s overall health and growth. There are many types and brands of formulas on the market. Knowing which one is best for your baby may seem difficult.
Speak with your pediatrician to ensure that you are providing your infant with all the vitamins and minerals that he/she needs for optimal health. Ideally a formula that is most like breast milk is best.
Certain formulas contain one-hundred percent why comfort proteins which are easy for baby to digest and promote brain and eye development.
Discuss any additionally needed vitamins and/or minerals with your infant’s pediatrician to ensure that you are providing your baby with the nutritional values that he or she needs in order to be completely healthy.
